October - April
Let us bring museum art and movement into your classroom!

This unique blend of Project Zero Thinking Routines and mindful movement will inspire social-emotional learning and foster emotional regulation to transform classroom dynamics. Students will develop curiosity, self-awareness, and relationship skills as they decipher a work of art for meaning and then interpret it through movement.

Developed in partnership with the National Museum of Asian Art and aligned with national SEL curricula, this program supports a culturally responsive and joyful learning environment.

Various themes are offered to complement classroom learning.

Teacher Workshops

March 29, 2025
10am - 12:30pm

Come play and de-stress with us while learning practical tools for classroom learning!

In this in-person workshop, learn and practice tools for slowing down to facilitate deep conversations through works of art. Engage in breathwork and movement practices to improve calm, focus, and regulation in the classroom. Learn to bridge the acts of slow looking at art and mindful movement to create powerful connections within yourself and the classroom.

What previous workshop participants have said about Artful Movement:

“Integrating internal experience with outward/physical expression is a powerful tool for appreciating and learning through art.”

“I see and know how to connect mind, body, movement, and art.”

“[This workshop was] healing for myself and I feel prepared to help bring healing to my students.”
